Well they say an Idle Mind is Devil's workshop !
A couple of days ago I was all the more idle, that the devil had so much time not only to build a workshop but also to continue with production, service and maintenance ! ;-)

And I started thinking about how many a time ppl speak or ask something, because they wanna speak or ask something (despo), and not they really have something to speak or ask ! ( well sorry if that confused u :-s)

(Well Yeah..ahem...u know I came to worship God here ! and luckily I didnt find him :-D)

"When I see ur performance from 10th standard, I see a sudden dip of grade in ur under graduation? how do u explain that??"

Me:
(Well tht credit goes to Sathyam Multiplex,Ramdas Inn(Bar attached), and the Nayar Chaaya shop opp my college campus...If u could spare me an hour, I would be bringing marksheets right from KG, and I might have a strike rate better than Sourav Ganguly)

I was a , so called "padips" in tamil slang, with 40kgs of bones packed in dusky skin sporting a fibre framed spectacles.

5 Years Back:

Wow ... The begining of the millenium , last year of my teens! 12 Am, 1st Jan, I was zooming in my jet with loads of beers ;-)...barely shifting my gears !

Last Year:

2004. Epitome of my fickle mindedness. Switched jobs, projects, mindsets ! The year's ride had too many tides in my life... ! Also my first crush came back into my life. I was like Surya whisperin in "kakha Kakha".."En Sh**...Azhagana en Sh**...azhagazhagana en Sh** "...with my moods swinging between R , A and G ... Finally it was an R(red alert) frm my mind to my heart...saying "Enuf Ice...no more melting of thy heart;-) " !

Yesterday:

Wah...just enzoyed my day...As it ended...got down frm the bus...with my "bean" plugged to my ears,hearing the sweet chimes of "alaipayudhe", eyes lookin up the sky with rain drops falling, and my hands were about to stretch wide...n then came one of the unsung action heroes of the 3 wheeler indutry..n started his rumbling
..."dei..b...dei k.."...
I was thinkin "oh mr Anniyan ?"..
"sorry'nga na"
"kannu illa?"...
"dont u see, ya I have 2 big ones, might resemble an owl or an egg ...heehee"...;-)

Kick Started my day...
With my hoodi..hittin the highway...

k..am an Indian...thought of keeping left...
In most parts of the world they drive on the left of the road.
However rite now we drive on what’s left of the road.
but came Mr Yama seated in his new vechicle...

here am meaning the metro water lorry..!;-)

Then thought, with the skies opening up to pour its rain load
....any one can use both sides of the road...

took a small turn to the right...
and as I was sailin slowly...realised..the day is out of sight...

haa...there came a minor dinosaur hole(cmon v hav crossed the ages of manholes !)
wah...ne' one can have a free dive n fall...
in the new found miniature niagra falls ;-)

n the begining of the nite ...not even one street light...
though there was one so high... they call it the moon..
I think I might probably hav to download it soon !

Came a fellow being riding his Vahana from the opp side...
made up my mind...for now the ride is gonna collide...
all of a sudden...appeared one familiar smile sans teeth...
wah my grandpa !... sayin welcome boy..the earth is beneath !
a few seconds passed...I was lying under the shed...
with the fellow driver staring with his face red !
wow...am alive or dead !??

started contemplating abt quitting the place !
Is there an Angel to Guard, or do they have to trust none but God...
Not even the slightest clue about whos who !
All they need to do, is to trace the Two !

They were getting more n more threats day by day...
not from anywhere but from within !...

Well...
Emie...Couldn't believe her eyes !

Her adonis lying on the Rug...
silently slaughtered by the thug ...

Lots of thoughts, tons of fear running in emie's mind...
when did she faint...
when did the lights turn on...
when did eric came ...on...
Did Roger Kill eric ?

As she gets up...There she finds Roger... with his cheeks grazing his revolver..!

Emie, with her eyes blinking fast as though this day is her last !
Roger, pretty cool, less worried, confirming emies thoughts, as if the entire plot was well conspired !
He was all the more enjoying the cool breeze ...

and as he made his aim to her forehead....!
he saw emie slowly tryin to grab somethin, the knife near the teapot...
or the tab tied to her wrist...or was there more to the locket hanging from her chain??!!


Half past eight...
The entire apartment was surrounded by scores of cops...
for the encounter on a stormy night !
all eyes aimed at emie's apartment ...
Again a mild agitation,followed by a shot from the gun...

The cops getting all the more alert,
n there rings... the mobile of the chief...
It is a call from ROGER !

Roger: " Mission Accomplished Sir ! both of them gunned down..."

The cops breath in peace, with a great sign of relief !

As Roger came down, he was greeted by one n all for his guts n gumption leading to glory !... The Angel from God, whoz to Guard all of em'...
Well this is all Roger had to say, "The Neighbourhood, not bad anymore !"...

tHe bAD neiGhBoURhOOd ! (part 2)

It is 8pm ...warns the clock...not the whisky !
n as she nears the viccinity of the front door block...

aah !...It opens for her, before she could graze it with her tender fingers...
she slowly gets back...n enters the man...
she feared for the last seven nights...
but she barely knows its him...
she sensed someone had entered her apartment...
but doesnt know who...not even the slightest clue...

she gets to the door n locks it...
n hears 3 different sounds...
is it the lock ? or is it the beat of the boots ? is it the sound of the trigger
before the thug gets ready to shoot ?

Gets drenched in sweat...slowly walks away from the door...counting her steps..
her fingers trying to dial erics number...
if at all she needs a good nite's slumber...
Her hands keep trembling...with fear...
and theres something for her to hear...
The Radio bulletin...but who had switched it on ?
Its quite a repetitive news for her...that two of the
recently escaped terrorists are residing in her neighbourhood !

As far as she saw...all her neighbours were the so called GentleMen n Women !
but for one new tenant, Roger, whom her neighbours told, with eyes read,
if looks could kill shez dead !
Now shez able to tie all loose ends...!
The thug in her dreams !...The new tenant of her neighbourhood,
n maybe the guy who had just peeped into her living room !

Her mind getting wild with all tht she thinks...
n as she does....her whole mind sinks...
Her eyez get shut !
Images of Eric slowly fading before her eyes !

...It is quarter past eight...
Eric sees the missed call of emie...
rushes to her door...its locked...gives a hard hit with a log of wood..
breaks it open...n as he enters ,
it is the faint light of the moon from the calm sea...is all that he sees !
in the total black out...its total silence...he tries to raise his voice amidst the fear which had engulfed his throat..."emie ...where are you ...are you ok? "...theres no response...but for a small
sound of someone tapping his boot on the floor !

Is it the beat of the boots ? is it the sound of the trigger
before the thug gets ready to shoot ?
.......it is 8 20 Pm...
She feels a mild splash of water in her face...
n her eyes slowly opening up, there she sees her adonis...with his hands on her forehead !
..
....
.....but not with his usual smile...
and as she regains her consciousness ...she realises the lights are back...
The most terrific mix of good n bad she could ever see..
or maybe is it DejaVu ? or a dream coming true ?

She sees Eric n Roger,both seated next to her !
and as she touches Eric's shoulder...
He falls with an ounce of plasma on the floor..!

He is no more...!
